welcome to your intro to AP language and composition my name is Mr Bond and I teach you English 10 honors English 11 as well as AP language for juniors and AP Literature and composition for seniors I am missing my English teaching credential from Fresno State hiring in creative writing graduating Magna cumlaude a this is my sixth year of the rats and I am the department chair for the English program I'm going to space to taking this course other than what you see here there's a grey by available to get a B in an AP course counts as a four-point be like an a with normal account and an A in an AP course chances 5.0 so you have a chance boost your GPA on 4.0 we also have a chance to earn some college credit English college credits if you pass the AP exam are some of the things we do in AP Lang you read and write a lot right a lot of research papers as well as response to literature we take test that prep you for the AP exam which occurs through the end of the school year various programs to supplement your such as news Ela by the authors are saying what they're saying how old are accomplishing their meaning I just brings us to the idea of what strategies these are what I just mentioned techniques that authors use to get there cross to you so in a favor going to learn how to analyze what others write what they trying to get across in the how they're getting their points.
