Chawanakee Unified Announcement of Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Participation for 2022-2023

Dear Chawanakee Unified Families, 
 
We are pleased to inform you that all schools in the Chawanakee Unified School District will be implementing a new program from the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2022-2023 School Year.
 
Effective, November 27, 2022, all of our schools participate in the CEP program. Our Nutrition Services Teams continue to provide one nutritionally balanced breakfast and lunch each day at NO CHARGE for all students enrolled during the 2022-2023 school year.  This communication is a requirement of the CEP program. You, your child, or children will not experience any changes as a result of this transition.

Chawankee Unified School District today announced an amendment to its policy for serving meals to students under the [National School Lunch / School Breakfast Programs] for the 2022-2023 school year. All students will be served lunch and breakfast at no charge through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) at the following sites:
